MaleNPT Connector for Braided Hose

These male NPT connectors feature a cone shaped inset on the face of the male threaded end. This helps fluid or gasses make a smooth transition to and from the flexible braided line. All Mako braided hose connections are made from durable 316L stainless steel for longevity and reliability. These are also equipped with an extra heavy machined crimp ferrule on the hose side.

Sizing

These fittings are currently available in 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1".

Installing Reducing Adapter Fittings

Size adapting fittings are now availbe in certain size combinations. This means that if a larger fitting is ordered on a smaller hose, like 1/2" connections on a 3/8" hose, it could restrict the flow compared to an assembly of 1/2" fittings on a 1/2" hose. These fittings are intended to be used for assembling adapter hoses. Installing two over sized fittings on a smaller hose size should only be considered if a higher pressure rating or tighter bend radius is required.
