Sizing

Mako custom stainless braided hose is made to order and can be made to specific length between each sizes respective minimum and maximum lengths. (Maximum Length is determined by the average roll size of the braided stock. if you need a hose that is longer than the stated maximum, contact us for assistance. We may be able to locate a roll that can accommodate your request.) Lengths are stated inclusive of end connections, tip to tip.

Min./Max Lengths

• 1/4 - 4.75 in. / 300 ft.
• 3/8 - 5.25 in. / 300 ft.
• 1/2 - 6 in. / 300 ft.
• 3/4" - 6.5 in. / 150 to 300 ft. (Determined by available stock roll)
• 1" - 7.5 in. / 150 to 250 ft. (Determined by available stock roll)

Minimum Bend Radius

• 1/4" - 3"
• 3/8" - 5"
• 1/2" - 6.6"
• 3/4" - 11.8"
• 1" - 17.7"

Pressure Ratings

Max Working Pressure

• 1/4" - 3,000 PSI
• 3/8" - 2,500 PSI
• 1/2" - 2,000 PSI
• 3/4 - 1,200 PSI
• 1" - 1,000 PSI

Minimum Burst Pressure

• 1/4" -12,000 PSI
• 3/8" - 10,000 PSI
• 1/2" - 8,000 PSI
• 3/4" - 4,800 PSI
• 1" - 4,000 PSI

To order our custom braided hose, use the format below. This will ensure correct hoses are produced and delivered.

1. How many of this specific hose you would like.
2. Hose diameter
3. End connection type & size
4. Secondary end connection type & size (If different from the first connection)
5. Overall hose length (tip to tip)

This is an example request for custom 1/2'' Hose.‍

"10 - 1/2" hoses with 1/2" tube stub ends, 8Ft long"

This would result in the following parts ordered for assembly.
