Superlok bulkhead reducing tube unions allow for two tubes a different sizes to be connected through a solid panel or cover. This is especially useful in the assembly of machine cases and control panels.

Identified on the fitting by the red ring, this simple solution reduces the likelihood of leaks by reducing installation steps and the need for an additional gap gauge tool.
