Bulkhead connectors allow flow networks to cleanly pass through solid paneling. This is accomplished with one side of the fitting extended to pass through the panel and a lock nut that's used to clamp the fitting to the panel. They're available in tube/compression fittings, male and female NPT, and Male JIC.
